Arianna Occhipinti

Azienda Agricola Arianna Occhipinti is a small winery located in the countryside of Vittoria, spread on a 32 hectares of land, 25 of which are vineyards, planted exclusively with native Sicilian grapes varieties: Frappato, Nero d’Avola, Moscato di Alessandria (Zibibbo), Albanello. Arianna also uses the “sovescio” technique (green manure), and leaves the wild Mediterranean vegetation, with the aim to preserve the biodiversity and have a natural oxygenation of the soil.

Grafting is carried out directly in the field, collecting the slips from a mass selection and applied it on older vines, selecting the most interesting plants, but keeping the ancient biotypes.
