Leclerc Briant Abyss Brut Reserve 2017, Champagne AOC
Unique ! In collaboration with Amphoris, a company specialized in underwater operations, champagne House Leclerc Briant created the Abyss cuvée, with the 2013 harvest, which is specifically dedicated for underwater aging.
Grapes are selected for their famous chalky soils, in perfect harmony with the sedimentary marine basement of Stiff Bay, near Ouessant island in Brittany.
This outstanding cuvée is equally elaborated from Chardonnay, Pinots noirs and Pinot Meunier.
Exclusively sourced from the 2013 harvest, bottled in July 2014, disgorged in March 2017 and then submerged under the sea in June of the same year. Abyss 2013 was raised from the depths in June 2018.
