A complex and highly expressive champagne.
The Chardonnays in this cuvée come from the estate's vineyards located primarily in the Noé-Les-Mallets terroir in the Aube department . The soil here is quite different from that of the Marne region. Here, we are closer to the terroirs of Chablis, with clay and limestone rocks that contribute a generous and spicy aromatic signature. Vinified and aged in oak for approximately nine months on its lees , the cuvée takes its time to develop its complexity.
Louise Brison is, above all, a family story, a testament to the expertise and know-how of four generations. In 1910 , Louise Brison eked out a living with just a few acres of vineyards at a time when winemaking was not very lucrative. Thanks to her perseverance, future generations were able to continue her work, and the estate took a new direction in 1977 with Francis Brulez , who began producing aged Champagnes matured in oak barrels. His daughter, Delphine Brulez, continues the family tradition, building a bridge between the past and the future.
